Live Podcast and Sacred Ecoliteracy Class with Daniel Firth Griffith and Kyle Kingsbury
Location: Gardeners of Eden Farm, Lockhart TX
Date: August 10th
Time: 7:30am - 12:30pm
What if agriculture and food production is not something we do but a relationship we are?
What if talking to and communing with our two and four and winged and vegetative and slithering cousins is the sacred reawakening of our own humanity, as mammals, as Earthlings?
Join master storyteller and kincentric rewilding pioneer Daniel Firth Griffith in this intimate field day intentioned to provide a sacred moment where we will step back, learn the names of our relations (plant ID) sit with trees (meditate under their canopy), and reawaken our humanity (questioning what it means to be a human in agriculture), tasting our sacredness for what it is: present and ours, but ours to gift away.
This will be a morning of:
• Monitoring, listening to, and observing nature
• Animal husbandry
• Plant ID
• Plant to plate to palate connection
• Moving at the pace of nature
And more!
After our time in the field, join Kyle and Daniel in a live podcast where we will all discuss Daniel’s latest book, Stagtine.
